Epsom woman's death suspicious

The death of a woman in her 80s at her home in Surrey is being treated as suspicious by police.

Officers were called to the house in Sefton Road, Epsom, on Thursday afternoon after the body was found.

Surrey's major crime investigation team, which is leading the inquiry, has not yet named the woman.

He said the identity of the woman would not be confirmed until after the post-mortem examination, and when her next-of-kin had been informed.

Neighbourhood officers were in the area to speak to residents nearby.

Forensic officers are examining the property.

Police are appealing for anyone who saw anything suspicious in the Sefton Road area on Wednesday or Thursday, or has any information about the death, to come forward.

This longmead estate has become well out of hand. The local officers claim to visit regulary but trust me they are never there.
On the same day a boy is seen with a air rifle in the estate a woman is found dead under suspicious circumstances (burglary gone wrong or outright murder?). Not saying they are linked I am pointing out what type of place it has become.
What is this now murder number 4 or 5 for Epsom in a couple of years?
How is it we pay more than any other county for council tax which mostly goes to the police yet we are unprotected! I dont blame the police themselfs so much as the goverment. Although I rarely see the local police for the longmead estate!
