A Bromley artist’s stage show - described as ‘a clueless mum’s guide to pregnancy, childbirth and life after’ – features a very unusual cast.

Rhiannon Brace was inspired by the birth of her son Dylan last August to create Baby, which will be performed at Roehampton University’s Footprint Dance Festival on May 10.

Among the performers are babies – all under 18 months – who appear in slings with their dancing mothers.

Rhiannon said: “The great thing about the show is that it has a massive risk factor as who knows what will happen in the scene in which the babies appear.

“So far they have behaved beautifully on stage but who knows what will happen.”

The show premiered at The Place in Euston in January and has just received Arts Council funding.

Rhiannon will also teach a physical theatre workshop at the festival. Go to footprintdancefestival.com
