Stones In His Pockets, the multi award-winning comedy by Irish writer Marie Jones, comes to the Epsom Playhouse for one night only on Monday 6 October with original director Ian McElhinney, now starring in the critically acclaimed “Game of Thrones”, at the helm.

Seen by more than 2 million people Stones In His Pockets tells a hilarious and moving tale of a quiet Irish community, turned upside down by the arrival of a massive Hollywood movie shoot. Universally loved by all who see it Stones In His Pockets is brought to life by two talented actors Conor Delaney (Game of Thrones, Jack Taylor, The Tudors) and Stephen Jones (Ripper Street) who play 15 characters between them – from the cheeky lads intent on stardom to a Hollywood Goddess!

Following its Tony Award nominated run on Broadway, four and a half years in the West End and on tour, the worldwide success Stones In His Pockets is back on the road once again playing over 60 dates across the UK.

Writer Marie Jones is an award-winning Irish writer whose other credits include Women on the Verge of HRT, A Night in November, Dancing Shoes and Fly Me to the Moon. Marie also works as an actor and played Sarah Conlon in the Jim Sheridan film, In The Name of the Father. Ian McElhinney is an award-winning director and actor whose film and TV credits include Michael Collins, Moonfleet, and Ripper Street as well as Game of Thrones.

Conor Delaney who plays Jake has a broad range of theatre, film and television roles to his credit including Game of Thrones, Jack Taylor and The Tudors. Stephen Jones who takes on the role of Charlie, is an actor, writer and a director with a solid body of theatre, film and television work including the BBC’s Ripper Street.
