A comic strip creator led a comic book workshop to celebrate the opening of a new gallery at the BRIT School.
To celebrate, Kev F Sutherland whose comic strips appear in The Beano, Dennis The Menace and Ghost Rider 2009, celebrated the school's first exhibition by leading a comic master class on May 17, for students.
The Scribble and Scribe gallery, which is located in the BRIT School's Learning Resource Centre, will showcase the artwork of the school's Visual Arts and Design students.
A competition to name the new gallery was open to staff and students and was won by Samantha Woods, from the school's finance department.
She said: "I was helping out with the exams by scribing for a student and that's when the idea came to me."
