Glittering prize for jewellers

Staff at a Croydon jewellers have been celebrating their sparkling success after winning an award in recognition of their customer service.
Lyons, based in the Whitgift Centre, is part of Fraser Hart, a family-owned chain of 31 jewellery stores.
The company was named multiple retailer of the year by trade magazine Retail Jeweller for the second time, having previously collected the title in 2003.
The judges were particularly impressed by the company's approach to customer service.
Lyons branch manager Tony Gardiner said: "We are all very proud of the award and believe that it reflects the way our business works.
"When people buy any piece of jewellery it is always an important occasion, whether they are choosing an engagement ring or a gift to mark a special occasion.
"It's our job to help them without pushing them and to make them feel totally confident in their choice."
